Contraindications

People with kidney problems are advised to avoid doses of Vitamin C greater than 2000 mg.

Side effects

At doses greater than 2000mg per day and in long-term use (1 year), phenomena such as diarrhea, nausea and oxalate formation in the kidneys may occur.
