A.Vogel Centaurium is an organic tincture of fresh cornflower that helps digestion and reduces the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Cornflower stimulates the secretion of digestive fluids, and the breakdown of food. It also acts against the "relaxation" of the esophageal sphincter and soothes gastric acidity.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicines (HMPC) have approved the use of CentaurIum as a traditional herbal remedy for mild indigestion or other stomach and intestinal disorders as well as for temporary loss of appetite.
Dosage
Recommended dosage:
Adults: 10-15 drops in a little water, 3 times a day.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age in a little water, 3 times a day.
Instructions of use
The ideal way to use Centaurium is to take it 15 minutes before meals in a little water. Before swallowing, hold it in your mouth for a while to enhance its action.
Cautions
Avoid taking during pregnancy and lactation.
