Contraindications

Ginkgo Biloba should not be used in people taking anticoagulants such as heparin, aspirin and warfarin as well as antiplatelet drugs. Avoid use in cases of surgery. Mild side effects such as gastrointestinal upset, headache and possibly plant allergy have been reported. In any case, if medication is followed, the opinion of the treating physician should be sought.

Ginseng should not be used in people taking insulin, antilipidemics, diuretics, antiarrhythmics, hormonal agents, sugar regulators (per os). It is also contraindicated for use by hypertensive people.
